We’re launching a campaign to promote student rights. As of right now we are focusing on our restroom rights and policies. As students sometimes we’re not allowed to go to the restrooms for various reasons, maybe the restrooms are closed during classroom hours or they are too far or simply our teacher doesn’t want to let us. But being able to urinate when we feel the need to is our human right, so as students we feel this is a big issue that needs attention and solutions now. We want open restrooms, clean stalls, the freedom to pee when we need to!

Dalia Gonzalez

We are students from CNMT @RooseveltHighSchool but this situation is happening all around our campus including other campuses. We made a campaign poster in our class about what may happen if you aren’t allowed to go to the restroom. This campaign turned into a big problem because it also adds up to Student Rights. We wanted to solve this situation because its occurring in our own campus and we’d like to find a solution for it. Us students don’t get many Student Rights nowadays and we’d like to get our rights because at the end of the day it is just affecting us students more.

We the student @CNMT are trying to get the administrators to get more restrooms open in our school. We will do this by getting signatures of other student that agree with what we are arguing about. Some other ways we will achieve this is by protesting with members of our school. Another thing we will do is making a convincing poster to get our administrators to pay attention to US! The last thing we will do is use all the restrooms and party because of our VICTORY!
